FAQs

What IS CNC MACHINING AND WHAT ARE YOUR CAPABILITIES?

1

CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining is a precision manufacturing process that uses computer-controlled machines to cut, mill, turn, or drill materials into custom parts with high accuracy and repeatability.

We specialize in 3 Axis, 4 Axis, and 4+1 Axis Milling, Drilling, Boring, Tapping, and Lathe Turning, working with volumes from prototypes (1–10 pcs) to production runs (2,000+ pcs). We handle complex geometries, tight tolerances (±0.0005" or better), and a wide range of materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, plastics, brass, low or high alloy steels, nickel alloys, and high temperature alloys. We also offer Reverse Engineering. Deburring, Heat Treating, Surface Treatments & Coats, Welding & Fabrication, Assembly including Heli-Coil Insertion, Sawing, Parts Marking, and CMM Inspections.

WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU MACHINE AND WHAT TOLERANCES CAN YOU HOLD?

2

We machine a broad range of metals and plastics, including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, low or high alloy steels, nickel alloys, high temperature alloys, titanium, copper, brass, ABS, Delrin, PEEK, and more. We regularly hold tolerances as tight as ±0.0005 inches (0.0127 mm), depending on the material, part size, and geometry. Send us your drawing for a specific DFM (Design for Manufacturability) review and tolerance feasibility.

WHAT IS YOUR TYPICAL LEAD TIME / TURNAROUND TIME?

3

Lead times vary based on part complexity, quantity, material availability, and current shop load. Typical turnaround is 5–10 business days for prototypes and 2–6 weeks for production orders. We offer expedited options for urgent projects.

How DO I REQUEST A QUOTE AND WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED?

4

Getting a quote is simple! Upload your CAD files (STEP, IGES, or SolidWorks preferred), along with quantity needed, material, any critical tolerances or surface finishes (e.g., anodizing, powder coating, passivation), and any special requirements. We’ll review your design for manufacturability and respond with pricing and lead time usually within 24–48 hours.
